In this buying guide, I will share my personal experience and recommendations for the essential accessories your bearded dragon’s tank needs.
Tank Size
The first thing to consider when buying accessories for your bearded dragon’s tank is the size of the tank itself. Bearded dragons require a minimum of 40 gallons for one adult, but bigger is always better. Make sure to measure your tank before purchasing any accessories to ensure they will fit properly.
Substrate
The substrate is the material that lines the bottom of your bearded dragon’s tank. There are various options available such as reptile carpet, calcium sand, walnut shells, and paper towels.
